Continuing the Dawoodi Bohra community's commitment towards improving health and providing healthcare assistance to those in need, the Bohra community in Bhinder, Rajasthan, today successfully completed the installation of Computer Assisted Radio Monitoring (C-Arm) machine at Gulab Singh Shaktawat Government Hospital. This state-of-the-art machine is widely used during complicated surgical procedures, especially orthopaedic, pain management and emergency procedures. The C-Arm machine is the first within a 60 km radius of the hospital and is expected to help patients from about 300 nearby villages.
Earlier patients in Bhinder used to dread having to travel 60 km to the nearby Udaipur city to use the C-Arm machine. But with the installation of this technology in our hospital, we hope patients will no longer face this inconvenience

Smt Preeti Gajendra Singh Shaktawat, Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Dr Sankit Jain, Medical Director of the Government Hospital, and Hatim Saeed, representative of His Holiness in Bhinder, along with members of the Dawoodi Bohra community were present at the machine inauguration ceremony.
In his address, Hatim Saeed said, “During His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin's visit to Bhinder, he graciously accepted the request from the hospital to upgrade its infrastructure by adding a C-Arm machine. This contribution to the hospital demonstrates Syedna’s deep concern for people's health and well-being.”
He further added, “The installation of the machine is undertaken as part of the Dawoodi Bohra’s global philanthropic initiative, Project Rise, which is working towards creating a better and healthier future for all sections of society.”

The C-Arm machine is an advanced medical imaging device that is used in orthopaedic and cardiac procedures, including stents and line placements. The machine provides surgeons with real-time, high-quality images of the surgical site, allowing them to see the internal structures of the patient's body and guide their movements with greater precision.
Bhinder is a town in Udaipur District located 315 km from the State's capital, Jaipur. It has a population of nearly 18,000 people.
