His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, 53rd leader of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra community, recently concluded a visit to towns in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan between 15 to 27th September 2025. These visits provide an opportunity for the local community to interact with His Holiness and seek his guidance on various issues in their personal and professional capacities. Conducting a sermon at each town, thousands of members benefitted from his address at their respective community centres.

Encouraging patriotism and civic service in Sailana
On September 16, Syedna addressed community members at Ezzy Masjid in Sailana where he emphasised the importance of patriotism and community service. He urged followers to live harmoniously with people from all backgrounds and actively support their locality.
“Syedna's visits bring us strength and direction,” said Burhanuddin Lukmani, a coordinator from the Dawoodi Bohra community in Sailana. “He not only inspires us to live faithfully but also reminds us of our duty to serve our nation as responsible and productive citizens.”
For Sailana’s over 92 Bohra families, this visit was particularly significant — it marked the first time in more than 30 years that a community leader had visited the city.
An emphasis on gratitude in Sheopur Kalan
On September 19, Syedna delivered a sermon at Hashemi Masjid in Sheopur, the first such visit by a Syedna in nearly 80 years. He focused on the values of gratitude and purity, encouraging the community to appreciate their blessings and commit to both physical and mental cleanliness. Sheopur’s Dawoodi Bohra community, comprising around 1,200 members primarily engaged in trade and retail, welcomed his guidance as a reinforcement of their faith’s core principles.
The importance of continuous learning
The visit culminated on September 26 in Kota, where Syedna addressed nearly 10,000 attendees at Saifee Masjid. Drawing from the city’s reputation for educational excellence and its renowned limestone industry, he highlighted the role of discipline and good habits in shaping strong character. He encouraged the community — many of whom work in hardware and cement businesses — to pursue faith, hard work, and social responsibility.
In addition to Sailana, Sheopur Kalan, and Kota, Syedna also made brief stopovers in Ratlam and Indore. Across each town, his visits reinforce enduring values of faith, gratitude, service, and social responsibility, distinguishing his leadership and care for the Dawoodi Bohra community’s spiritual and social well-being.
