During his recent visit to Malegaon, His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the leader of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra community, donated 40 computer systems to five Malegaon Municipal Corporation Schools (MMC). This support, undertaken as part of the community’s global philanthropic arm, Project Rise, is set to benefit approximately 3,500 students, offering them crucial access to digital education and technological resources.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Shri Ravindra Jadhav, Commissioner of MMC Malegaon, who expressed deep appreciation for the Dawoodi Bohra community’s contribution. “This generous donation by Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin exemplifies the community's commitment to education and in empowering future generations. Access to technology is no longer a luxury but a necessity, and this computer laboratory will go a long way in ensuring that these students are not left behind in the digital age.”
“During his recent visit to Malegaon, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin emphasised the importance of education as the foundation of individual empowerment and societal progress,” said Huzefa Husaini, Project Rise coordinator for the Dawoodi Bohras of Malegaon. “Recognising the need for improved infrastructure in underprivileged schools, this support will help bridge the technological divide and equip students with essential digital skills necessary for today’s evolving world.”
