In 2023, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin selected Dubai, UAE, as the venue for his Ashara Mubaraka sermons where around 75,000 community members from the UAE and across the world participated. The central venue for the congregation was the Burhani Community Center in Al Qusais, Dubai. Syedna’s sermons were broadcast to centres in other parts of the UAE including the World Trade Centre and community centres in Deira, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman. Additionally, the sermons were telecast live in the neighbouring countries of Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.
Throughout his sermons, Syedna expounded upon various traditions of the Prophet Mohammed, demonstrating the universality of the values embedded within them. He counselled community members to live in harmony with all the people of the world, contribute to the development of their countries, adopt a business mindset and uphold honesty and justice in all aspects of their lives.
Community members, authorities and various local partners collaborated in the face of record-breaking temperatures and logistical challenges to ensure the success of the event.
