A Gift of Good Health: Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin enhances facilities in Jaora’s Government Civil hospital

As a gesture of support to the people of Jaora during his recent visit to the city, His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, contributed towards the upgrade of the Government Civil Hospital in Jaora. This upgrade will provide advanced healthcare facilities and improve the quality of care for locals and surrounding areas.

The enhancements include the installation of an OT table arm with a remote, an OT light double dome, a surgical drill machine, and comprehensive surgical toolkits along with other infrastructural advancements. These advancements will enhance the hospital's ability to perform critical surgeries and provide comprehensive medical care.

"We are incredibly grateful to His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin for this generous donation to our hospital. This contribution will go a long way in boosting our capacity to serve our patients better," said Dr. Deepak Paldiya, Medical In-Charge of the Government City Civil Hospital.

"With these new resources, we can provide more sophisticated and efficient medical care to those in need, thereby enhancing their quality of life," he said.

This initiative is a reflection of Syedna's enduring commitment to making healthcare accessible to all, a cause that resonates with the core tenets of the Dawoodi Bohra community.

Murtaza Mithaiwala, coordinator for the Dawoodi Bohra community in Jaora echoed these sentiments, saying, “This contribution to the Government Civil Hospital in Jaora will have a lasting positive impact on the lives of countless people in the city and beyond. We are deeply grateful to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin for his care and compassion for all.”

This donation was made as part of the global philanthropic endeavour of the Dawoodi Bohra community, known as Project Rise, which works with local communities and organisations to provide better nutrition, health and wellbeing, access to water and environmental protection.

Some of Syedna’s recent contributions to improve healthcare facilities include the donation of a ventilator machine unit in Amravati and the upgrade of medical equipment in a hospital in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, an ENT examining machine in Rajkot, the installation of a hemodialysis machine in Gondal, Gujarat, and the provision of a C-Arm Machine to a hospital in Bhinder, Rajasthan.
