In what has become an annual commitment inspired by the spirit of Ramadan, to serving the homeless in the San Francisco Bay Area, Bohra community volunteers in Fremont prepared and delivered 53 snack packs and 53 hygiene kits to Abode Services – a local agency assisting individuals with no roof over their heads.

This marked the community’s third such engagement with Abode Services. Individual Dawoodi Bohra families donated granola bars, fruit cups, crackers, bottles of water, and other snack items, along with pairs of socks, washcloths, toothpaste, toothbrushes and other hygiene items. Men, women, and children from the community gathered to pack the donations into individual bags following afternoon prayers and delivered the packages to Abode Services shortly afterwards.
