As part of an ongoing effort to help clean up and restore the Alameda Creek near Masjid-e-Mohammedi in Fremont, on Saturday March 16th, members of the community in San Francisco aided the Alameda Creek Alliance by committing multiple hours removing trash and invasive plants along the creek.

More clean-ups and restorations are planned for April and May this year, including a botanical project to help native plant species thrive in the creek’s vicinity.
